This 3D height field movie is based on Jim Muth's FOTD New_Elephant_View from September 27, 2010. You can find the original image on the FOTD website.

To make this image and movie I used Fracton's Export Model... command to make an OBJ model file that was imported into Bryce. The 2D image was used as a texture map for the model. Bryce made the animation by moving the camera through the cut.
